Up for auction is a pair of Dwyane Wade player exclusive sample Way of Wade 1 shoes made by Li-Ning. These shoes are original pieces of art and have been hand painted by world renown Daniel “Mache” Gamache, of Mache Customs. These Li-Ning shoes aptly labeled as “Mache Tribute” were commissioned by Wade after the 2012-13 NBA season. Mache took a pair of Wade’s PE sample shoes and custom painted them with accomplishments from his life. They are a size 14 with Promo Sample coded tagging. They show light wear on the soles and were likely only worn by Wade once or twice at most. The detail in these shoes is amazing with imagery from Marquette, his family and children, charity foundation, a personal portrait, NBA championship ring, Olympic Medals, and his statistics. These are a true one of a kind piece of artwork, that cannot be found anywhere else. These shoes were even featured during Sneaker Con 2013 in Miami Beach as part of Wade’s personal collection of Li-Ning shoes. They come from a collection of Wade’s issued and worn items that had previously been donated. These shoes are one of the holy grail items for Wade collectors, something you will never see again.
